Dental implants at Muirhead & Associates Dental Practice
At Muirhead & Associates, we offer a full range of dental implant solutions to replace missing teeth permanently. Whether you need a single tooth implant, full-arch rehabilitation with All-on-4 or All-on-6, or implant-retained dentures for extra stability, our team will build a treatment plan around your individual needs. We know implants are a long-term investment in your oral health, which is why we offer flexible 0% finance to help spread the cost.

What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a small titanium post that we place into your jawbone, acting as an artificial tooth root. Once it fuses with the bone, it provides a stable foundation for a replacement crown, bridge, or denture. Implants also preserve your jawbone structure and prevent the bone loss that usually follows tooth loss. We offer single-tooth implants, All-on-4, All-on-6, and implant-retained dentures, each designed to restore function and a natural appearance.

How much do dental implants cost?
The cost of dental implants depends on how many you need and the complexity of your treatment plan. A single tooth implant differs in price from full mouth treatment using All-on-4 or All-on-6.
During your consultation, we'll assess your needs and give you a clear, personalised quote. To help spread the cost, we offer 0% finance over 10 or 12 months, with longer-term options at 9.9% APR also available. You'll find full pricing details on our pricing page.

Starting your dental implant journey
Your consultation
Your dentist carries out a full assessment, including digital scans and a bone density evaluation. If you need bone grafting to prepare the site, we'll talk you through that process too. You'll leave with a clear treatment plan and transparent pricing.
Your implant placement
We place your implant into the jawbone under local anaesthetic. Over the following weeks and months, it fuses naturally with the bone through a process called osseointegration, creating a stable foundation for your new tooth. If you feel anxious about treatment, our sedation-trained dentist can also talk you through your options.
Your restoration
Once you've healed, we attach your custom-made crown, bridge, or denture to the implant. We'll book follow-up appointments to check everything fits well and give you clear aftercare guidance.
Could dental implants be right for you?
If you're living with one or more missing teeth, struggling with loose dentures, or facing tooth loss from decay or injury, dental implants could be the right option for you. Many patients also choose implants over a traditional bridge, which requires reducing healthy neighbouring teeth. Book a consultation with our implant provider, Ahmer Imtiaz, to talk through the options.

Why choose dental implants?
Natural appearance
Made to match the shape, size, and shade of your surrounding teeth, so most people won't notice the difference
Long-lasting solution
With proper care and regular check-ups, implants can last many years, often decades
Improved function
Restore normal biting and chewing, improve speech affected by missing teeth, and enjoy your favourite foods with confidence
Prevents bone loss
Implant roots stimulate the jawbone, helping prevent the bone loss that follows tooth loss and maintaining your facial structure
