About Muirhead & Associates Dental Practice
Muirhead & Associates Dental Practice was founded in 1965 by Thomas Muirhead and his wife Jane, and to this day we remain a proud family-run business. Located near the historic world heritage site of Saltaire, we’ve been caring for families across Bradford, Shipley, Bingley, Keighley, Baildon, and the surrounding Yorkshire communities for decades.

Meet Robert Muirhead
Robert Muirhead qualified with LDS RCS Eng in 1991 and BChD from Leeds in 1990. He’s a nationally recognised expert in digital dentistry, having been one of the first clinicians in the UK to adopt the CEREC same-day crown system back in 1993.
Robert’s clinical interests include cosmetic smile makeovers, comprehensive restorative care, and advanced occlusion. He holds postgraduate qualifications in occlusion and is a member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies. As such, he commonly treats patients suffering from chronic headaches, facial pain, and jaw tension caused by occlusal disease.
Meet Ahmer Imtiaz
Ahmer Imtiaz qualified with a BDS from Queen Mary University of London in 2017. He's a dedicated implant dentist, having completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry to support his advanced clinical training.
Ahmer's clinical interests include single-tooth implants, full-arch rehabilitation using All-on-4 and All-on-6 techniques, and modern digital implant workflows. He's known for his calm, patient-focused approach, helping nervous patients feel confident and well informed at every stage of treatment. Outside of dentistry, Ahmer is a proud father and enjoys playing football to stay active.

We’re just five minutes by car from the historic world heritage site of Saltaire, and you can easily travel to our practice from Bradford, Shipley, Bingley, Keighley, Baildon, Pudsey, and Ilkley. We have dedicated car parking on site, with additional free roadside parking.
We’re also served by multiple bus routes, making it easy to find us however you travel around Bradford.
