Tooth Whitening
A simple teeth whitening treatment can make a huge difference to the overall aesthetics of your smile and give you a boost in confidence.
More and more patients are wanting their teeth whitened and here at Muirheads we have 2 types of whitening processes available.
Both require impressions or a scan taking of your teeth, from which the whitening trays are made. One type is purely a home based treatment where you apply the whitening agent yourself at home. The other type has an in surgery treatment as well.
With both types we will take a note of the shade of your teeth both before and after treatment so you can see the results.
What to expect when having your teeth whitened
Step One - Free Smile Consultation
Free smile consultation to discuss the 2 types of whitening we offer and which type of whitening you would prefer.We will discuss the level of whiteness you wish to achieve, take a note of the shade your teeth are now and take a photo of your teeth so we can see the difference in shade at the end of your treatment.
Step Two - Prepare for your Treatment
We will either take impressions of your mouth or take a scan of your teeth to make your whitening trays.Step 2 can sometimes be done at the same appointment as step 1.
Step Three - Fitting and Instructions
You will be fitted with your trays and be given full instructions of how to apply the whitening agent at home.
Step Four - (Enlighten Treatment only)
After using your home whitening kit for 2 weeks you will have a 1 hour in surgery whitening appointment.Now you can enjoy your brand new smile!
